At Midwest Conservatory of Music, we offer two types of workshops during a year as follow.

Performance Workshop (Master Class, Studio Class):

The purpose of the master class and studio class is to give students a chance to perform for their peers in a low pressure setting, motivate students to prepare their pieces and enable students to play recitals and competitions without undue stress. The more you play for people, the less stressful it becomes. The master class and studio class are held periodically throughout the year.

Field Trip Workshop:

  • Tetsuo Matsuda Violin Making Studio Tour, Every May

  • Chicago Symphony Orchestra Tour, occasionally

  • Master maker, Mr. Tetsuo Matsuda            Midwest Conservatory’s students and parents
