Whun Kim presently performs as concertmaster with the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra.  She is based in Chicago and has performed extensively with the Ravinia Festival Orchestra, Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra, Chicago Sinfonietta, N.W. Indiana Symphony, New Philharmonic, South Bend Symphony Orchestra, and Lake Forest Symphony.  She has performed at world-famous venues, which include Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center, Auditorium Theater, Chicago Theater, Harris Theater, and Preston Bradley Hall with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Itzhak Perlman, James Ehnes, Barbra Streisand, Joshua Bell, Josh Groban, Joffrey Ballet, Barry Manilow, and James Taylor.  Whun received her Bachelor's of Music degree from Northwestern University, studying with Dr. Myron Kartman and her Master's of Music from the Juilliard School, studying with Joseph Fuchs.
