Mrs. Sharon Stine is a professional musician and private teacher, with her main instrument being the trumpet. She received her BM and MM degrees in Music Performance from the University of Illinois. More recently, she received her teaching license in Music Education from Northeastern Illinois University and has been working as a guest teacher for instrumental music programs in a number of area school districts.
Her performance experience is vast. It includes opera, musicals, symphonic, and pop orchestras, and even playing fanfares for the Chicago Cubs. She is also a specialist in early music and has performed music from the Baroque and Classical eras on period instruments. These performances have been with many groups around the Midwest, and in June of 2019 included a Baroque festival in Belgium. Mrs. Stine looks forward to working with new students at the Midwest Conservatory of Music.
