The vision of the Midwest Conservatory of Music is to provide opportunities for quality music education and enrichment in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago by offering private music lessons and performance opportunities for students of all ages who dream of a life filled with music.
At Midwest Conservatory, we believe that each student possesses the potential to blossom into the musician they are aiming to become. This potential is nurtured through close attention to the detail of each student’s goals and development as a musician. We are sensitive to and greatly value each student’s purpose for music study and base each student’s lesson plan on these purposes: whether it is aid for playing in a school orchestra, eventually attending music school/university, or just wanting to learn to play personal favorites from various genres of music for personal enrichment. So, whatever your purpose for music study is, all are welcome!
We host a unique variety of student events to promote not just individual achievements, but also community outreach in order to introduce new students to the wonders of music-learning. Numerous performance opportunities enable our students to inspire future music students.
In addition to these events, Midwest Conservatory of Music is home to the
Midwest Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), a top-ranking Youth Community Orchestra.
The orchestra hosts 4 concerts per season at the Hemmens Cultural Center including
the MCCC Showcase Concert, has performed at Carnegie Hall and Chicago Symphony Center, and tours internationally every 2 years.
